My daughter has got a old chair to do up in her summer holidays from school and was wondering about what the timber and type of style it is in, it is leather upholstery and needs replacing and will have to done professionally which in no problem.
She wants to do most of the work herself out side the upholstery and has started to clean and hopefully put up a couple of photos here later.
Any help and advice would be great fully appreciated.

When you post a photo I'm sure you will get more advice. Upholstery is actually not that difficult and the materials are readily available online. Your daughter would get a great satisfaction if she did it herself. ?
