Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I’m not sure but it was never reliable anyway. I often had it set to record only to find ****in tennis when I went to watch it. I got WRC ALL LIVE this year and I love it

That happened me a few times but it was always repeated later so I used to record it at 2/3 am and never any issues.

[QUOfTE=.red.;110159791]Anyone know why the live stages and daily report just stopped on BT Sport a few rallies back? All I can find now is the hour long review of the full weekend.[/QUOTE]

Today on BT SPORT 2 you've got Day 2 highlights at 12.30 and stages 14 and 16 live.

Cheers, I've got them set to record, couldn't find day 1 tho, and day 3 isn't on till tomorrow.
I couldn't find any of the daily shows for Argentina tho which is strange if their doing some but not others.

Meeke given a 1 minute time penalty for removing his windscreen in a control area. I think it's fair to say he is slightly pissed off.

He really needs to keep his mouth shut. He's an employee of Toyota, not an individual rally driver. His bad mouthing of Citroen and now this latest episode aren't what you expect from a professional.

Tanak wins Rally Portugal from Neuville with Ogier in third place. Meeke out on the Power Stage with damaged suspension.

After the awful news about Manus Kelly's death last weekend it's nice to see something positive about Irish rallying this morning.

I wish Craig and Paul the best of luck. I hope the car suits them. It seems to be a (WRC) one off for Finland right now but he will also do Rally Estonia. If he puts in a good performance you'd never know it could lead to more.

It’s a bittersweet feeling this morning as I share with you all the news that Paul and I are getting our return back into the #WRC with #HyundaiMotorsport. When I found out that this was going to happen, you cannot begin to understand the excitement, it was an incredible feeling to know all our hard work was finally being recognised and we were getting our break again.
Obviously, after last weekends events, it’s difficult to be too excited, I know one of the first messages I would be receiving without any doubt would be from Manus... However, we have to be very thankful. I have had incredible support from so many people during these last difficult months, and they all know who they are. Paul and I are determined to do the best job physically possible during our time, and we cannot wait to get started with our new team.

Thank you, everyone, for making this happen, it means the world to me.

Craig Breen came home from a great showing in Finland to take the win in the Ulster Rally in a Hyundai i20 R5 and with that the Irish Tarmac Championship. He and Paul have put in some really good performances this year I hope it leads to a WRC drive next year.

They put in some very good performances this year in, I think, 5 different type cars.
Really happy for both of them although a full time WRC drive next year will be hard to get.

He did'nt put a wheel wrong all year, Hyundai are watching very closely. Adamo is a no nonsence boss and the big bosses at Hyundai want a manufactures championship WRC win.... And to get that next year they need consistancy..... Breen could fit right in with their plans. He did exactly what he was asked to do in Finland and did'nt throw it at the ditches like others.... You have to play the team game.

I wonder if Rally De Espana will be affected by the protests in Catalunya ?

You can be sure it will cause some sort of disruption....

That would be strange if Neuville is going to be there next year. Both would want to be number 1.
I'd love to see Tanak win it this year and Neuville next year to mix it up a little.
As good as he is Ogier, is very unlikable (to me anyway). I'd love to see him finish 2nd or 3rd in his last 2 seasons. Fantastic driver tho.

I think Adamo will give priority if any to whoever performs better. I can’t see home giving either number one status before the season starts.

I actually really like Ogier. I don’t particularly get why people don’t like him. I’d love to see Ogier take another title. I’d love Tanak to take it too though. I always was a big Neuville fan too but he has become a bit annoying lately. He still deserves a good shot at the title too though.

The seats for next year will become very interesting if the Tanak rumour proves to be true.

What you see on TV isn't anyways the way in real life. I was a rally Germany a few years ago. Got a chance to get near the drivers. Out of all of them we got near, autographs and so on, Oiger was the only 1 that had time for us. Smiled, chatted to us. We were at the stop line of the last stage when he won. In all the scrum of people that was there, my 7 year old put out his hand, Oiger stopped, came over and gave him a big hug. He is a very likable guy. He's french. Speaks his mind and is to the point. Wish he had stayed at M-Sport this year. Looks like it's all over for him this year , after today's trouble in Spain

Couldn’t agree more as regards Ogier. Some of the Irish drivers could learn a lot from watching his end of stage interviews.
Off to Toyota next year it seems.

His wife was very vocal on twitter today after his trouble. I was wondering in the back of my head. Was this the start of Oiger trying to get out of Citroen. I heard somewhere there is a clause in his 2 year contract that he can leave after 1 year. If that clause is only a get out clause to retirement and not to another team. Can't see him staying with Citroen next year .

Wonder what Tanak's move to Hyundai will mean for Craig Breen next year?

Craig seems to have a development job for the new i20 R5 other than that it’s unfortunately hard to see a WRC seat in Hyundai for him if it is Neuville, Tanak & Sordo/Loeb. With tha Tänak shakeup though seats could open up elsewhere. I’d say Toyota could go looking for Evans.

    Where does that leave Toyota?
Latvala and Meeke aren't exactly number 1s who will challenge for a title.
Maybe Tommi will get back in the car himself!

It sounds like Meeke is good for a seat. Latvala so so. Talks of Ogier going there. There is certainly a few interesting weeks ahead.

I would love to see Ogier in a Toyota.
He’d give the Hyundai’s a very tough year

I reckon Toyota will be Ogier, Rovenperra and Meeke. Breen will stay with Hyundai doing R5 work

Looks like Breen is in for Australia after all. Taking Mikkelsen’s place.

Sad news out of Australia but people’s safety is more important than a rally. It was lining up to be a great little rally with a lot of drivers with something to prove.

My thoughts are with those families in danger of the bush fires and the firefighters trying to get it under control.
