Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tamper Sensor

    Hi,

A PIR sensor in my kitchen was moved to allow some work to be done and this set off the tamper alarm. The sensor has been replaced but the alarm won't set unless this sensor is inhibited - gives a Tamper Alarm message.

Does anyone know to reset this so that I can set the alarm and include this sensor? Do I need the engineering code? (which I don't have).

It's an Eircom Phonewatch HKC wired alarm and is no longered monitored.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thaniks

Take the cover off the PiR & hold in the small tamper spring or button you see on the PCB . If that works then replace the cover ensuring the lid is catching the tamper switch.
