Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Even more astonishing according to a recent documentary( if to be believed) is Venables, on a night out in Liverpool admitting his true identity to some other guy in a pub who thought he was just taking the pee .

    While I'd have sympathy for a public list of convicted paedophiles there are too many morons out there that can't be trusted with the information, plus it takes the focus of unconvicted ones!

    Indeed and you can be sure that some people who put such information and photographs out in the public domain are not always doing so with the publics welfare as the main interest

    Maybe people feel he lost the right to anonymity. Especially once he reoffended by getting involved in child pornography. It may or may not be him, but you can understand why people in the UK would be interested in knowing. At least the other fella has kept his nose clean since his release AFAIK.

    Pretty much. He is supposed to have reintegrated well. Keeps to the conditions laid down for him, and isn't considered a risk to the public. Venables on the other hand...
