Trad Musicians Needed

Singer/guitarist/sometime tenor banjo player with experience of playing and touring looking to put a trad group together in the Dublin 8 area for Sunday jamming, then busking, then paid gigs performing standard trad numbers first and then progressing to the addition of originals.

Think more along the lines of The Pogues, The Dubliners, etc. as opposed to The High Kings or any of that other sterile, commodified ****e. And less political than The Wolfe Tones.

We'd definitely be playing to be noticed as opposed to a background ballad group.


Musicians needed are as follows :
1. a fiddle player
2. a banjo player (tenor) & banjo player (5 string)
3. a drummer/bodhrán player
4. a trad guitarist
5. a tin whistle player
