Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Link to paper (open access)

Study of cardiac function in apparently healthy dogs fed a variety of dry foods, some grain free, some grain inclusive and within those some containing peas/legumes/potatoes and some not.

Short version: Troponin and Taurine levels (one a marker of cardiac injury and one can be elevated in presence of cardiomyocyte injury) elevated in dogs fed peas/legumes/potatoes. Doesn't correlate with the recent Golden Retriever study examining cardiac function and grain free feeding which is interesting.
