Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Have never been to Algarve, so looking for advise on where to go...

    What town would be suitable for 4 adults, just going for a few days, so thinking somewhere near Faro airport.

    Looking for something laid back...

    Almost any of them including Albufeira as long as you avoided the strip. Typing this from a balcony in Vilamoura. Define what is important to you and maybe it can be refined. Food, sports, drinks, activities, hotel or self-catering. Defining it solely by reference to the airpoirt is less relevant when nothin is more than an hour or so away from it.

    Food, drinks, pool, flip flops, no driving, take it easy.

    Give Quarteira a look. We really enjoyed the restaurants there. Close to Faro. Nice beach. Cheap food and drinks.
