Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do airlines operating intra-European flights still serve alcohol?

I was looking forward to being served some standard wine that I used to get in economy class with KLM/Air France. I'm planning on going to Nice, France in mid-July after I receive my vaccination.

I have seen however that many airlines have completely suspended their complimentary snack and beverage service in an attempt to limit the spread of coronavirus.

Anyone who has been on an intra-EU flight know if alcoholic beverages are still served.

BA is offering a full bar service in Club Europe and you can buy beforehand in Economy.

KLM is also back to normal.

I think they are all back to normal.

Presumably you have to pay for it.

A lot of the old school legacy airlines still offer complimentary drinks.

Lufthansa has moved to paid food and drink on short haul, allegedly because customers want a choice.
You now get a bottle of water at most.

The prices arent bad, i.e. €3.50 for a bottle (not can) of warsteiner, so drinkable and a lot better than US Budweiser or Heineken or whatever the irish airlines charge €6 a can for.
