Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I am thinking to visit Donegal and was wondering between the two towns above, which one would people recommend?

    Letterkenny. It's more central.

As stated Letterkenny is much more central but where to stay or locate depends on the purpose of the visit in a way. Holidays, business?

I’m visiting Derry just for a holiday and seeing as Donegal is close I want to go there then after. I have decided with Letterkenny thanks cause I’m going to go to Glenveagh Park then aswell. Thanks.

Hi guys can ye recommend any pubs to go to in Letterkenny? I’m going to be staying in the Station House Hotel?

As the pubs should only be operating as restaurants now, I'd stay away from those who didn't serve food before this. The bars that have served food for years include the Brewery, Dillon's, Warehouse, the Orchard, the Oasis, McGettigan's, Sara's, Arena 7... I'm sure someone will add the ones I've missed but the food is generally good in all of these.

Kinnegar beer is brewed in Rathmullan and will be available in most if not all local pubs.

Kinnegar is being brewed in Letterkenny now (behind Arena 7). They have a good range of beers.
