He stayed in the big ring throughout ,unreal ride.

I was watching through my fingers, I really thought he was going to get caught around the last corner. He was barely moving and the chase group were hammering it. Great watch.

Another crash, Roglic this time. Peloton sat up to let him get back on

Pinot must be in with a great shout now for victory. Roglic looks like some series road rash which has to hurt

Huge news as Froome & Thomas both dropped with 45km to go.....

..... Oh wait, that's happened every stage do far!

They only bring out the good stuff at the tour.

    7 within 21 seconds of each other so hopefully some excitement today;

    1 Thibaut Pinot (Fra) Groupama-FDJ 17:45:46

2 Guillaume Martin (Fra) Cofidis 0:00:10

3 Mikel Landa Meana (Spa) Bahrain McLaren 0:00:12

4 Daniel Martinez (Col) EF Pro Cycling

5 Miguel Angel Lopez (Col) Astana Pro Team 0:00:18

    6 Nairo Quintana (Col) Team Arkea-Samsic 0:00:21

    7 Richie Porte (Aus) Trek-Segafredo

Pinot & Landa in a break with 13 others and 1 minute up on the peleton.

Following on the app today, sounds like an exciting one. I can't see the other teams sitting up and not fighting for podium positions. 55 seconds gap

Oh dear, Quintana and Porte didn't get the memo about the GC breakaway their teams are having to chase. 2 hours before live coverage :(

Only typical that we're missing the best action of the week!

I hope Bernal and Roglic are just taking precautions by dropping out now before the Tour starts. If it's more serious for both, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that Sivakov and Bennett end up as the leaders of their respective teams for the Tour. Before this race, both men would have been considered the fourth best climbers in the their teams.

Landa cramped up and dropped off the lead group. They've sent out a search party for Quintana. Sivakov proving himself worthy of Tour GC contention for Ineos.

Sivakov crashed there. Took a bang to the head too but seems ok.

Kicking off now, Pinot getting attacked from all angles.

Has a top 10 ever been turned so upside down on the final stage before! Would love to be watching this one now

EF's Martinez takes the overall from Pinot

Great win from Sepp Kus. He deserved that after carrying Roglic to the finishing straights all week. He's definitely one to watch out for, definite GC contender in the near future

Ffs. Just saw the headline on cycling news. Daniel Martinez wins Critérium du Dauphiné

Thought it was the Irish fella

I doubt we'll see a more exciting day of racing all year

Was the stage finish on an airstrip?

    Looked dramatic.
