Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I didn't have any decent close ups of the sleeve, but this is where I'm at to date:
Sun on right shoulder by Sean in Zulu (from a King Crimson album cover)
Sleeve on right arm by Michele in Arttattoo (now closed).
Cherry blossoms on left forearm by Marco in Arttattoo.
Pin up girl on side, and rose on left arm by Anto in Spilled Ink.
Planning to get another pin up girl on the opposite side to match the existing one; and fill out the left arm with a few more pieces, especially on the shoulder (but probably not a full sleeve).

New addition to the sleeve yesterday. We didn't get as much as done as we had planned, was hoping to have only one more session after this but it looks like there could be another two. Anyhoo, this is from The Eye. It was about four hours work and I have to say I'm happy with it and fits nice between Hannibal and Mike Myers.

Ok, here's my latest tattoo (this makes 5 in total) which was done this Saturday by Fran at Zulu Tattoo. I gave him the text in the fonts I wanted and brought reference photos of the cherry blossoms which he used to design the tattoo, incorporating an older tattoo on my wrist. One of the fonts wasn't the best for tattooing with so he cleaned it up a little.
The cherry blossoms and text are both really meaningful to me and I wanted them where I could see them all the time. I was so happy with the result that I asked Fran to sign his work, hence the stylized 'F' in the bottom corner. The tattoo turned out so much better than I had imagined, I was speechless with delight!

had these orchids done this morning in London, its awesome, bit blurry pic and very very red, and the angle makes it hard to see, can't wait untill its healed, very hard work though! ribs are sore! eventually this will go from the top of my right knee to just underneath my armpit

Sorry it's been so long...got the second last piece done on my sleeve last week. It's the scene used for the front cover of The Exorcist where the priest goes to the house...
One more session (around Halloween funnily enough) and the sleeve will be complete!0 -

started with a treasure chest
then added a sextant
then a spyglass
finished off the treasure chest
added the atlas background
then gave it the treasure map effect

So arm is done, prob have to spend 30 mins or so just filling in tiny bits where ink was pushed out in my next session, but here is the sleeve that i spent the last year or so getting done

So folks....it's finally, finally finished!! I had a five hour session yesterday getting the final piece done (The Shining's "REDRUM" door) and a bit of blending. He's starting the other sleeve after Christmas (can't wait) but for now, here's the finished job...
