Obtaining a Land Registry Approved Map

    Has anyone had to get one of these done during the sale of their house?
    Apparently it's a new regulation since 1st June to update the Land Registry.

    Bit confused about who to call, or if I can get a map done myself from some map seller, mark out my boundaries, and get my lawyer to stamp it.

    Anyone? :)

    I don't know the details, but they are likely to look for an Ordnance Survey map to a certain standard. OSi have agents around the country.

    Note there are two separate ideas. One map will identify the site, e.g. this identifies St. Stephen's Green: http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,715935,733403,7,10

    You may need another map to define the site, e.g. the OPW own as far as the kerb line on St. Stephen's Green, i.e. well beyond the fence line.

    And once I get it the plan is to demark my house and boundaries myself so my solicitor can stamp it.
