Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Polystyrene packing

    Is there any green way to get rid of polystyrene packing? I've just bought a new oven, and it came packed in cardboard, plastic and two huge pieces of polystyrene. I hate to just break them up and put them in the bin.

    I know that the recycling facility at Kilcullen accepts Aeroboard. Check with your local centre.

    It was tongue in cheek.

    Phone up the wholesaler who supplied you with the new gear, possibly they might offer to take it or give you a lead.

    Hmm. I generally wait a few months before going to the recycling centre, because it costs a few quid, so I gather up a bit of stuff to bring together.

    Can't (to be honest) see myself holding on to the polystyrene for that long.

    Where are you based? All recycling in Kilcullen is free (for domestic users).
