Ok - Abu Dhabi - his playing partner agreed that the ball was embedded. An error of judgement - doesn't make him a cheat.

The drop at the players - yes, it looked like the wrong position on camera but again, Tiger's playing partner agreed on the line of entry over the hazard and I think a marshal indicated it to be the approximate area also.

Fudged in his favour? There was a rule put in place to stop harsh retrospective disqualifications - hardly makes him a cheat. If you don't agree with it - place the blame on the R&A, not Tiger.

Abu Dhabi was unlucky and IMO not really any fault of his - apart from obviously the player being ultimately responsible etc.

The Players - well, my opinion on that is that the playing partner (can't remember who it was) is only a rookie or second year player and in fairness I can't see him telling Tiger Woods "sorry mate, it all the way back there". My own opinion on that one is that Tiger decided where he'd like to drop it and everything else was just going to have to fall into place.

The Masters, that was beaten to death on here, but yes, the ruling was fudged in his favour. He didn't try to break a rule here IMO rather he simply forgot what he could and couldn't do and in what situations. Easy to do, but they found a way to keep him in. Forgetfulness or ignorance shouldn't be a defence.

This one is totally different I think. Its all subjective, but they way he stops and stands up and walks away after the ball moves is the giveaway for me. I think he knows then.

Either way there's an awful lot of incidents with this player, for sure, not all his fault, but in a lot of peoples opinions he could have handled some of them differently.

Exactly the reply I expected and all fair comments, as it is a grey area.
Just feel tiger operates in the darker grey of that grey area .
Still find it strange that in the days of huge prize monies , and retrospective Tv coverage , tigers is happy to accept a nod from a possibly intimidated playing partner, when a ref is never far away.
We will never know if that same ruling at the masters would have been implemented for a lesser billed player or if the same effort would be made to inform lesser players of misdemeanours before they sign for an incorrect score.
I just find it really really difficult to believe he didn't see the logo of his golf ball rotate to obvious different position , but again we will just have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
But to see all 4 scenarios as by no means anyhow even slightly dubious on TW behalf , and therefore fully in the hands of the ruling authorities, playing partners and amateur cameramen/ TV viewers is blindly loyal IMO.

I do agree the incidents at the Players and this event are dubious but not the other two. Regarding this event, I could only see the ball move and not return to it's original position when it was played in slow mo. Tiger could well have thought the ball only oscillated and returned to its original position, but as you and Russman rightly point out, it is dubious.

I just don't buy that. We regularly see Tour players call referees even to give rulings on Rules they are sure about - they pretty much always use caution and allow the referee make the call... if Tiger thought the ball moved and rolled back, he would still have called the ref to explain the situation and keep everything above board... great camerawork by the TV guy, although I'm sure Woods doesn't agree.

Wow, commentators just saying its the 22nd of 39 Tournaments to have a weather delay.

It's definitely been some year for weather delays. The course is looking like a lake right now. They will be doing well to get back out at all today.

Think of my last post as your junior cert exam question.. you did make an attempt to answer so you get a few marks. But you are going to actually have to answer the question to pass.

Now... please elaborate on how cheating is par for the course for Woods now? Or was that just uneducated verbal tripe?
This is what happens when a player becomes bigger than the game, you get fools blindly following.
Someday, when you take off the blinkers you might see the light, or when you grow up you may understand that defending the indefensible is foolish.

have agree tiger seems to believe he doesn't need to apply same standards to himself as other players, some of the fouls players call on himself and he didn't even call over a rules official for that.

You have one more chance to engage in an intellectual debate rather than insults... you suggested cheating was par for the course for Tiger, now actually back up your argument with examples. Where and when are all these acts of cheating taking place?

Seriously I haven't got the time or the inclination to go through every shady incident he was involved in, but Its been pointed out to you by a previous poster above of TW's recent infractions, nevermind the ones the cameras didn't pick up, now I know TW is probably your childhood hero and this might come as a shock to you but the sun doesn't shine outta his @ss, and btw I don't like you extremely aggressive tone, it's almost like you believe if you deny it strongly enough it won't be true (much like your hero). Grow up like a good lad and see the light.

The most embarrasing thing I saw at the wkend was Sergios attempt at a "buddy" handshake with Tiger at the end of the round. U don't like the guy, u have apologised for what u said, he is never going ot forgive you, move on and accept that please.

Looks like Jordan Spieth is going to make the top 30 Tour Championship next week. Youngest player to ever do so. What a season the 20 year old rookie is having.

Would be great to see Stenson finish off a great season winning the Playoffs although he seemed a bit tired last week. I'd love Garcia to win and let the others battle it out for the overall title.

Garcia has shown that he bottles it when in contention.
With the added pressure of this event, I can't see him winning.

I really can't see past Tiger. Great form at this course and as we all know he usually converts that into wins.

I think realistically/unfortunately Tiger isn't going to finish outside the top 5 this week, no matter what (unless of course he starts moving his ball again), so anyone who needs him to finish 6th as part of their formula to win the FedEx is pretty much out of it.

Then again, its not won on paper, and that's why they make them play.
    So here's hoping eh !
