Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Emerald Airlines were due to take over the franchise in a couple of years i think.....that might be bought forward....

Stobart collapsed after its sale fell through.

Hopefully this gives the government the kick up the hole they need to open back up travel.

Very sad for Irish aviation and regional links...

With airlines pulling flights from Shannon and Cork and now the regional services gone it's a further blow to aviation, tourism and business...
Unless by some miracle another operator steps in but sure who'd take the risk unless the Government heavily subsidised the service.

Aer Lingus will go to the wall also. It’s only a matter of time.

Emerald Airlines are due to takeover in 2023 so a year and a half. I wonder can they bring it forward at all. Sad really to see another small airline gone.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

More likely they'll just send their aircraft off to the UK and Europe and rebrand them... Aer Lingus will stay in Ireland but just be a very small airline...

And riddle the country with Kappa and other covid variants? No thanks.

Stobart had issues prior to covid. The company bidding to buy it reporting one of its backers to the IOM police last week for paperwork irregularities was the final nail in the coffin.
