Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Irish FIDE Arbiter Course

    The ICU will be running a FIDE Arbiter Course (in English) from the 31st January-2nd February. IA Alex McFarlane will be the lecturer. The course will take place in Gonzaga College SJ, Sandford Road, Ranelagh, Dublin. This has been signed off by FIDE who'll be publishing once the site reconstruction is complete.

    The Schedule: Laws of Chess, Rating and Titles Regulations, Equipment, Swiss System and computer programs, electronic clocks, FIDE Tournament Rules, Anti-cheating Regulations (18 hours in total).

    The cost is 75 euro for ICU members.
