Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In 2018 I paid 5 grand on a bathroom refit and €1600 on a new patio door in a property I rent out. I file my own tax returns. Just to clarify, how are these items dealt with in terms of tax relief? Thanks

The bathroom refit would be considered a capital expense which you claim over 8 years as a capital allowance. The patio door I would consider repairs and maintenance and can be classed as an expense.

I would view both as cap ex
