    Hi,

Upgrading tv soon and have a question about connections
Picture for back of tv shows the usual usb, hdmi and 5 rgb (3rgb +2), optical connections.

Plus a coaxial for the sat-dish.
    Cat5 for the network.

    question:
connection for saorview (tv is compatible) ?? needed ?
    Thx

    K

Saorview would be the coax. Depending on where you are you'll need an antenna.

With new Saorview connect STBs on offer weigh up if you'll get one, if you do that your HDMI input will be where you get your Saorview.

    Thx for that.

I have an antenna alright (cable used for a diff room currently)

    This tv - https://powercity.ie/product/50UM7450

so it's sv approved & satellite ready -- do I need a stb for saorview so ?

I thought I wouldn't need a stb for sv if the tv had an in-built tuner.
And from that I was wondering how the sat-dish got connected - with just the one coaxial connection.
