Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Microsoft 365

Was looking at Microsoft 365, full access to the Office suite + 1TB cloud storage per person, with the family subscription its £50 / €66
(A family can be 6 people)

This would mean if 6 people clubbed together it would cost €11 per year for a 1TB cloud storage each, pretty good....

I am already doing this with spotify, anyone out there interested in giving this a go....

    2TB on dropbox is €120

I installed an SSD on my laptop last week. While installing a fresh copy of windows, it offered me a deal of 39 euro for this.
Didnt take it as I get it free from two sources but maybe worth you investigating.

Just be wary; If you go in on a family subscription, the subscription owner may be able to lock your account and take control of your files.

That's a "maybe"; Microsoft may have set it up so that the subscription owner can just add and remove your licence and doesn't have access to your data.

According to this from Microsfoft this is not the case at all

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/learn-more-about-sharing-your-microsoft-365-family-subscription-155c850a-65b6-4a1a-9b28-b84e16b07bfc

Can people I share with see my files? Can I see their files?

No. Your files always remain private and so do theirs. This includes kids in a family group as well.

Regarding, the main account holder locking or removing access for the family member this would be true, but is the same with a shared Spotify or any shared family account. I've been running a S. account for a few years and this has never been an issue (have references)

Please send me a DM if interested in getting going on one of these

Some lifetime access options available on adverts.
No comment on exact source or legality (I haven't reviewed fully)
