Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This isn't a teeny tiny thing, it's reasonably large but couldn't find a place more suited... I just got an interview for a job. Not any job. Well really the job probably isn't great, but it's about 6000 more than I'm on now, for doing the same thing. But they have a Bring Your Dog to Work day!!! Makes me want to take the job regardless! I'm excited! 0

Had a call about an apt I was looking at - told landlord upfront I had cats...he says "sure that's no problem!". First one to react that way and it's right on the beach front! Delighted doesn't begin to cover it!!
Also, freshly laundered couch throws...smell heavenly 0 -

I walked in to Tubrid Well (here), this evening after work and a lickle auld lady was just sitting on one of the benches. Nothing unusual about that but this one...
~ Lickle Auld Lady: My God you're so tall aren't you? How tall are you?
~ Me : Yeah I'm just over 5'10"
~ Lickle Auld Lady: It's a good thing you're so slim. If you were in any way big, it just wouldn't look right
~ Me : *chuckles , ah okay & thanks
Just gotta love the blatant honesty of these lickle auld ladies. My nan was like that, always call a spade a spade as honest as can be

I was lost in thought earlier on a walk thinking about something sad and reflecting on it. Must have shown on my face cos I was crossing at a pedestrian crossing and a man crossing in the opposite direction just blurted out "I like red!" when I passed him...I was wearing a red mac. Hearing that a couple I know for about 16 or 17 years and who have been together the whole time are finally getting married (now that they can - civil partnership) has absolutely made my day 0 -

Had my hair cut yesterday and only tonight at work had I young teen girls asking me what I'd told the hairdesser I'd like done for it to turn out like it has, thought it looked cool. Even had mothers coming up asking me what to ask for.
At first ysterday it reminded me of the episode of Friends when Phoebe cut Monicas hair; but I just asked for sharp layers all around, but to maintain my length.
Actually happy today after I washed it myself before work.
God! Never under-estimate the power of a damn good hair cut that leaves you happy
