Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"The Emerging Mind" BBC Radio 4 Wed 8pm. Listen to it, it's really goo. I heard last weeks one. It was excellent. It was all about people who see colours when they see numbers. That happens because the number part of the brain is right next to the colour part, so when one gets activated, the other is also activated.

One of the fascinating things I learned in the last one was that there was a colourblind man who saw colours when he saw numbers. So the only place he sees colours is when he sees numbers. So when philosophers ask what is colour, or our experience of it, it is clearly a brain phenomenom. :-).

I think this wednesday's (30th april) is tyhe last one, damn I only heard last week's one. Anyway, listen to it on wednesday BBC Radio 4, 8pm, if you have any interest in how our brains work. It'd be well worth it.

It would appear you can still download and hear the lectures in streaming .ram format.
