Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is like a training game so far

Yep very boring so far, no intensity

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,129 ✭✭✭Lundstram

On Havertz and Werner watch today, like their next 5 fixtures a lot.

Mendy nearly passed into his own net!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,685 ✭✭✭✭wonski

    What was that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Think Neville being a bit miserly with credit there for Mendy. Thought that was a good save with the leg from Rashford. If De Gea saved that he'd be raving about it.

    Shaw booked.

Unbelievable considering some of the soft ones that have been given. No consistency.

    Havertz booked ffs

If penalty given there, gives Jorginho chance, and puts huge pressure on united/maguire. Instead VAR be like sure that's not a foul

Should have been a penalty for sure.

no doubt greenwood will be come on feel a kick in the box, go down, penalty given, Bruno scores and the Bruno fan club come in say he's a must, while those with Jorginho get screwed over

Cavani looks to be big into the dancing

I want United to get a pen here to see if Cavani takes it off Bruno.

Liverpool journos reporting Alisson and Jota start.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Werner blanking here leaves me really exposed to a Kane haul now, at least last week he got the brace and almost matched Kane's points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    Werner and Havertz subbed.

    Confirmed.

Interesting to see how Jota, Mane, Salah and Firmino works. The 3 plus Coutinho was a problem by the end of it, only worked once they got back to the 3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Worried about Brewster scoring against his former club. I have him as third sub.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,089 ✭✭✭Happy4all

Wasn't expecting Allison back, might have persuaded to keep Trent.

I’d say Mane, Firmino, Jota as a 3 behind Salah. If Jota was a regular starter I’d sign him immediately.

    Pulisic subbed

    Greenwood on, McTominay off

Looks like Coufal, Antonio and Fabianski get 3 BPs each after a late shuffle of points from the West Ham game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Great stop by Mendy to deny Rashford.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,298 ✭✭✭✭gammygils

I have Reece James 3rd sub. Haven't gotten round to getting rid yet. Had to deal with VVD this week
Now he gets me points......... on my bench :(

3 clean sheets out of 3 for Mendy! Maybe Chilwell is am option after all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    Disappointing spectacle. Defences on top.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,129 ✭✭✭Lundstram

Nice unexpected CS from Chilwell there. Looks like he'll get 2 bps too.

Edit: Maybe not, he's fallen way back now ffs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,598 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Only Chilwell in that. Happy with that

Was just thinking this although Ziyech will take set pieces off him. I’m not sure if they will share them or Ziyech will take everything

Would they be finalised now? Or do they usually change again?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,355 ✭✭✭Jim Gazebo

    McCarthy
    Taa, Doherty, Tierney
Klich, Bissouma, Salah (C), Son, Zaha
    Kane, DCL

KWP, Brewster, only playing subs. Rest have left their clubs ha ha.

    Banked my free transfer.

Good start with zaha and klich but not getting ahead of myself.

If Chelsea go with 3 at the back going forward Chilwell will be further advanced.

    Where does Ziyech fit in?

He did nothing wrong at all in that last 5 mins. Cleared a cross with a header, won a goal kick off AWB and made a few easy passes yet he went from 32 to 28. I really don't get it.
