Lads, an ad popped into my head from nowhere. Pretty sure it was Bachelors. The product was Easy Beans. The lyrics to the ad song were "Easy beans. Ba doobie doobie doo". What the heck were easy beans? Is there footage of this relic of 80s beany marketing?

Doesn't ring a bell. Are you thinking of those Heinz ads with the song where the chorus went "working on your bits"? That would be about 1991/92.

Don't think so. Maybe I dreamed it! I can't remember anything about the ad except the music, and am cursed to remember all the crap ads and songs (music and lyrics) from my past.
