Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just came across this link - http://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/1913PhoneList8.htm - when trying to research the origin (well, value really) of an old rug that I came across in the attic. I was looking for Millar & Beatty which it seems was a large furnishings shop on Grafton Street.

Anyhoo, those of you trying to locate *rich* relatives in Cork, Dublin or Belfast might be able to get some extra information from the alphabetical subscriber listings which begin a small bit down the first page.

Anyone think it would be a good idea (if difficult to police/order/maintain) a list of similar links as a sticky ?

p.s. is there an antiques furnishing valuation board on boards.ie by any chance ?
