Destiny Charter - Read This First

Welcome to the Boards.ie Destiny forum which is unsurprisingly a forum for the discussion of all things Destiny be it raiding, general PvE, PvP, character builds, lore or how to get that one exotic that continues to evade you.

We have our very own clan which you can find details on joining here, though it's by no means mandatory to join if you want to post here.

The general boards.ie site rules apply here as they do every other forum, you can find those here.

If you're on the receiving end of a ban or infraction you don't agree with you can find instructions on how to dispute that here (never argue with a modding decision on thread).

The forum specific rules are as follows:

Be nice, until its time to not be nice:
It's never time to not be nice, this forum is welcoming to all be they a hardcore player or completely new to the game and we should all strive to keep it that way.

Stay on topic:
Outside of a designated "off topic" thread it is important to stay on topic. While there is flexibility to allow the natural flow of conversation, if a mod posts a warning telling people to get back on topic then it is important you do so.

No selling:
If you want to sell something please use adverts.ie.


Piracy & regional work arounds:
Discussion of how to obtain pirated copies of games/any media or how to exploit regional work arounds to buy games cheaper is strictly forbidden and may result in bans or infractions.

Backseat Moderation:
Always use the report post function if you feel someone is being uncivil, trolling or breaking any of the rules. Never ever respond on thread, that's the Mods' job, not yours.

Quoting articles from elsewhere:
If you wish to post an interesting article please only post a short quote and always provide a link to the source. Posting full articles is a breach of copyright and is unfair on the original author.

Format Wars:
A bit of banter in terms of the game itself is fine but ultimately nobody really cares what format people play Destiny on. Anyone throwing around terms like "Xbox/PS fanboy", "console peasants", "PC Master race" etc or tries to start a "which platform is better" argument will at least have their posts deleted or at most receive infractions or bans.
