Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

mIRC Starcraft channel details and how to connect.

    Ok, so here is a quick guide on how to join the Starcraft channel on mIRC.

    Download mIRC from here.
    http://www.mirc.com/get.html

    Install mIRC

    Open mIRC

    you will now see this screen pop up inside mIRC

    attachment.php?attachmentid=122218&stc=1&d=1280587619

    Fill in the required details such as username, etc.

    Then click on the server tab

    attachment.php?attachmentid=122105&stc=1&d=1280496098

    Scroll down the list until you find Quakenet. Double click it, and select random server. Click OK.

    attachment.php?attachmentid=122106&stc=1&d=1280496098

    Click the connect button.

    This screen will then pop up.

    Just click OK.

    attachment.php?attachmentid=122107&stc=1&d=1280496098

    Now type in the following command

    /j starcraft.ie and press enter.

    attachment.php?attachmentid=122108&stc=1&d=1280496098

    Thats it! you should now be connected!

    Hope this helps some of you who have never used mIRC find our channel!

    if you choose not to pay, then you can just wait a few seconds and it connects anyway.

    I downloaded mIRC.

    I installed it.

    I opened it.

    I filled in username/alternate.

    I found and double clicked Quakenet and then random sever.

    When I hit connect I wasn't sure what screen was supposed to pop up. So I typed in /j starcraft.ie anyway. Joined something that has just me I think. A window with my name on the right?

    Am I in?

    if it only has your name on the right, then sadly your not in the right place!

    at the moment, there are 18 people in there, and there are always a few on at all times of the day.

    you have to type /j #starcraft.ie

    the # goes before the name of any channel you want to join

    not quite sure... someone (not me) was messing around with everything and i think it was set to private/invite only...

    Yes. Starcraft.ie is the channel.

    EDIT: You access it by clicking the little icon beside your friends list.
