Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone here lived in or currently live in a mobile home..off grid with solar powered electricity?

If so can you give some advice on how it works? and roughly what it would cost to set up?
Can it power everything, cooker, fridge, TV, heaters etc?

    Thanks

Better off in the projects and builds forum there's a poster there who will talk you through the ins and outs of off grid systems with abandon.

If you discount any heating part of the project then it becomes a lot easier.

Use gas for heating, water heating and cooking and that takes a massive load off any solar system.

Wake me up when it's all over.
