I usually try to start something new on a Sunday as Mondays can be bad enough on their own!

    Week 1 = -4.5lbs
    Week 2 = -2.5lbs
    Week 3 = -4lbs

Last week I moved my Weight in day to a Saturday as that works better into my Christmas plans.

I’m absolutely delighted to be down 4. I thought the scales initially said 2 and I was delighted then when I realised it was 4 I was ecstatic.

Down 11lbs in 3 weeks. I’m only hoping for 1.5lb this week as weighing in on Friday this week due to the toy show treats and takeaway Friday night. If I can hit a stone down before the 19th Dec I will be delighted.

Week 27th Nov I’d love a 1.5lb weight loss but honestly would take any as after losing 4lbs my body tends to fight back.

Week of Dec 5th will be a gain. As I’ll be 4 days off plan then 4 days back on plan. But I’m going to accept the gain and more importantly ENJOY the gain.

That gives me 2 more weight ins to try and reach my mini target.

4lb in a week! Flips sake that's incredible.

I have the 10 Dec looming as my finish up date for my training and diet programme, though my non drinking was to end on 01 Dec which may screw things a bit.

I did an aver of 15k steps in the last week. I ran on Friday whilst the youngest was napping and it was a bad idea, it was 29 degrees, which is usually bordering on okay for me but this time it really wasnt, at the 10km mark I felt quite ill and was 1.5km from home. I made it home just in time for the loo, then spent the afternoon puking. Just too much sun.

Weighed in this morning just under a bit of a mental block weight which I havent been below for 15 years so motivated.

I really want a pint on 01 Dec but it will affect the scales and the trainer will know for the final weigh in and pics on the 10th.

    Keep it up everyone!!

Spreadsheet is working well for me as a motivator over 9k steps, 9 cups of water, just over 2200 calories a day for the week and just 3 drinks all week. The only thing that’s hurting my brain is that the spreadsheet runs Mon-Sun but I weigh myself Wednesday mornings. I think I’d rather adjust the spreadsheet than my weigh day :D

I’d have been the same on the weigh in day but I weigh in for a few days in a row intermittently after realising that my hormones (I have endometriosis) make my weigh fluctuate wildly. One off data points are useless to me

And on that note I’ve weighed in the last three days and can say I’ve dropped a 0.8kg since I stabilised which I’m delighted about. One bad habit at a time is fixing things

Still not quite there on the night time snacking but I’ll get there eventually

Cheers, I am planning to be off next week which I hope to do 'two a days' (weights and cardio, like the old days) so I should be able to kick start the metabolism. Alternatively I may have to work my holidays, in which case there will be no exercise I might just say feck it, pick up a pint and eat till my hearts content.

Fair play Jude, another loss. You should be proud, especially with everything else you have going on.

    Week 3: +0.6lbs
    Week 4: - 3.2lbs
    Week 5: -0.8lbs
    Week 6: -1.8lbs

Got in a good few walks this week, but none more than 4k - starting to miss the 10k walks we did at weekend in October when the weather was better but the rain doesn't seem to be playing nice here the last few weeks! Did a small weights session at home yesterday evening just to prep myself for the gyms hopefully re-opening next week, and finished it off with a 10 minute HIIT workout... a very long 10 minutes!!

Lads ye are playing blinders, well done. I love reading all these huge losses as it encourages me in my eternal battle with that half stone.

I think I've finally given up on getting lower than the 11 & a half stone I seem eternally stuck at even when i'm exercising & eating normally & just have to accept that these are the days of flitting between that & 12 stone. Though if i can maintain that going into my 50's (not far away at all) I'll probably be doing well. The old injuries are really starting to come back & bite though which is so frustrating as I like to maintain a decent degree of fitness andmits getting harder & harder to do now.

Can anybody tell that I like spreadsheets? :P

First week there was really only 2 days of logging. Second week was the first full week. Happy with how it went. I didn't completely cut out all things nice but I made sure to log them as I was eating them and it made me think twice about having 9 or 10 as opposed to 1 or 2

I'm hoping that as the days and weeks go on the spreadsheets will help me form better habits and I'll then make better choices without thinking about it

Sat & Sun I had loads of nice things and a few drinks too but I didn't lose the run of myself and managed to limit it to only 2730cals on Sunday :pac:

I'm really making a big effort with the water as any time I've lost weight before I think this has played a big role

I don't have a huge steps goal but I've managed to hit 12k and 13k this week. The key to that was using the furthest toilet away from me in work (quite often because of the additional water :p)

I was actually doing well in the gym before the initial lockdown and even managed to maintain my weight for a month or two afterwards but as I got more and more fed up I managed to put on 20.4lbs in 5½ months. I lost a small bit before I started logging here but I guess my first mini target will be 16.8lbs for this log to get back to my pre covid weight, 11.6 to go. I look to be on course to losing it quicker than I put it on...Christmas depending :p

Anyway sorry for boring everyone. I promise additional summaries will be far more brief

Great stuff, love the summaries myself. Tracking is key you're spot on in what you said it makes you think before you eat/drink which is key.

I'm the same as yourself I actually managed to lose weight during the first month and a half of lockdown and then it all went wrong for the rest of it.

DOMS- Delayed onset muscle soreness is pretty common if you use a muscle that you havent used in ages.

I usually find some light stretching helps relieve some of the soreness.

I started a short morning workout this week, only been walking up to now. My OH knows every time I sit down from the wails out of me. Not as bad today but still hurts. I'm reluctant to drink too much water as I'm female...

Haven't posted here before but have been reading for quite a while. I put on nearly a stone of covid weight and only started properly trying to shift it last month. I'm hoping to be a stone down by the end of this week. I'm moving lots more and have given up the crappy comfort food, so as well as the weight loss and toning I'm feeling much better too. We're also hoping our littlest will finally get to make his Communion when the churches are open for services so need to fit into more than just my fat jeans.
Reading all your stories here is quite motivating so thank you all and well done on all the fab successes.

I didn't think it had been that long since I used them but I suppose it was longer than I think. Will spend the rest of the evening stretching I reckon :)

Fair play to you Jude, but thats a level of commitment I just wouldn't have tracking everything like that, far too much like more hard work on top of the real hard work of losing weight!

    Inspirational! I love excel :D
I'm a bit jealous of everyone keeping such good track of their results and what they're doing. I usually would keep a record, but haven't been able to weigh myself or take measurements in a good while so no idea if my hard work with food and work outs is showing results or not. My only indication is that my jeans no longer fit properly, in a good way!

Well done everyone on your hard work, it's great to see this thread so busy!
I'd chime in more but I'm trying to get outside more often and break my habit of looking at my phone too often.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, going to have a little treat and watch the late late toy show :)
    Have a good weekend everyone!

I’ve said on here a few times don’t put too much into the scales, it’s only one (important) measure of how you are doing. I use the clothes one myself.

To me the most important one is how you feel, if you feel good about yourself that is worth more than any number.

Hit my mini target. I knew it’d be a smaller weight loss as I moved the weigh in day a day earlier and after losing 4 last week the body tends to slow down. But I’m delighted 12lbs gone in 4 weeks.

Going to enjoy my 4 days off plan now and accept whatever happens next Saturday :D

So my mini-mas is over, back to reality and back on plan today.

The November step challenge is over, I aimed to get 300,000 steps in the month and I ended the month with just over 312,000 steps.

Delighted as I certainly took my foot off the pedal step wise over the past 3 days.

The busiest day of the month I had was Friday just gone. Yes the day I put up the tree and decorations. I had over 12k steps that day and I never left the house, it just consisted of mopping, hoovering, dusting, changing bed covers, putting washes on, putting up the tree and decorations. It proves Christmas is a work out.

Absolutely delighted to have lost weight this week - we had a graduation in the house on Thursday so got takeaway and a cake to celebrate so was definitely expecting to be up this week. Over the moon! Did another weights session last night and thankfully not feeling it as much in the legs today. Heading back into personal training on Thursday and excited to be back. A little bit of normality!

Congrats on the steps Loughc, that's seriously impressive.

Shocked with the loss this week to be honest. I have made a huge effort with walking and managed to get to the gym last night for the first time in 8 months. I’ll add a column for tracking exercise next week. I can’t remember the last time I dropped weight 3 weeks on a row. Can I make that 4??? Fri, Sat & Sun weren’t great. Eventually I’ll have to try and reign those in too

    Week 1 = -4.5lbs
    Week 2 = -2.5lbs
    Week 3 = -4lbs
    Week 4 =-1.5lb
    Week 5 = +0.5lb

So after 4 days off plan and 4 days on plan I evened out to a gain of half a pound. I will take that all day long.

Back on it since Tuesday so pushing for 2 losses over the next 2 weeks. Ideally I’d love to lose 4.5lbs or more over the next 2 weeks and that brings me down into the next stone bracket just before Christmas.

End of week 13ish and I have barely been on here. Working all hours and its really affecting my mood and ability to train. I finish my 13ish weeks this Thursday with a final weigh in and pictures. On the same day I have to submit massive reports by COB with a not a minute late deadline which we have all been working on for months.

Great to see all the updates, its a real motivator. I still haven't had a quality street or a mince pie.

    Week 3: -2.1kg/4.6lbs
    Week 4: -1.1kg/2.43lbs

    Week 8: -1.7kg/3.75lb (over 2 weeks)
    Week 9: -1.9kg/4.19lbs

    Week 11: - 1kg/2.2lbs

As I have said on here I am doing SlimmingWorld and even though I can see a difference on the scales and in my clothes I couldn’t really see a difference in the mirror. Anyway went out last night and wore a dress that I hadn’t worn since June 2019 - so I decided to do a side by side and was shocked at the results.
