Hi there so have returned to work since last week, first payslip would indicate that Employer only topping up the subsidy scheme to the amount of E350.00 even though wages should be in the region of E400.00.
Can they legally do this? It would mean working for less than minimum wage.

    Any help appreciated

If you are doing the same number of hours on your return, you should be in receipt of the same pay as you received pre covid.

If the employer was going to have some issues say due to cash flow, the onus is on them to open a dialogue with you explaining their circumstance whereby you would have opportunity to be in of acceptance of their proposal or say... “actually, I’m not happy with this scenario”... contact payroll directly and then your manager if you can.
