Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Received a letter to participate in Tus Scheme?

I recently received a letter from social welfare regarding the Tus Scheme, I was asked to participate in this scheme or I could be struck off JSA.
I have been worried sick about this ever since, I participated in Tus Scheme 5 years ago and afterwards progressed to a community employment scheme for a number of years. I loved my job on CE but sadly those roles do come to an end. After that, I had to go on JSA, I went on many job interviews eventually getting a role in administration but sadly that was a temporary role and it didn't work out for me.
At present I am on JSA, I suffer with OCD/and anxiety, my anxiety has gotten really bad since the whole virus came about, the restrictions, signs, rules etc makes me very anxious. Ever since I received the letter I've not been able to sleep and I'm having headaches, I just don't know what to do as I feel I'm taking a step back and on the other hand I feel so anxious and terrified about it. Maybe this is the kick I need to go to the doctor and get help for my anxiety?

I am worried if I have to go on the sick will I ever be able to get a job again? Sorry for the long post.

Go to your GP and explain to him what you have posted here.He is the expert, not the people who will give their opinions here.

Maybe you could retrain or go back to education. The department will place you on these schemes regardless if they feel you aren't progressing or making am attempt to get off Job seekers.
