    I can't race this Saturday due to illness, but I am apparently able to get a refund if someone else registers in my place.

    If anyone wants to go ahead and register, would you mind letting me know your name and triathlon Ireland number? I can then notify triathlon Ireland that you have taken my place.

    Bit of a convoluted system but it is what it is!

    You could just defer your entry to the next race either, they allowed me to do that last year... might help your situation ..
