Hi Tizzyowner, neither Brooke Lodge nor The Paddocks do diy which is what I want. Also Brooke Lodge is very expensive, Paddocks isn't much cheaper.

Sure the grass livery in Olga's in Kilternan is only €25 a wk so I'm going to put my boy there for the summer anyway. You can use the arena and there's a max of 4 horses per field so that suits me!

Kilternan is about 7mins from Steve's (to be exact!), Enniskerry is just over 10mins and has fabulous hacking, I promise they're not as far as you think!

Hi My girlfriend is looking for livery in the area. Would you have the number for olga's it sounds very reasonable. Thanks

just to warn you the grass livery isnt actually in the yard, the horses are kept about a ten fifteen min hack from the actual yard! kilakee lodge though in rathfarnham area does grass for 50 a week as far as i know, they have a nice outdoor as well and the hacking is good, can be a bit quiet but seems nice!

DIY small barn €45 per wk includes turnout and haylage
DIY large barn €55 per wk includes turnout and haylage

€20 extra per wk for your horse to be brought in, fed and mucked out 5 days a week if you provide your own feed and shavings!

Full use of arena with jumps and lights, also bathrooms, tackroom and kitchen.

Grass livery still €25 a week which includes haylage and use of facilities.

Yard is quiet, clean and friendly, about 15 horses there and only older teenagers and adults. Very few people seem to use the arena so it's never crowded.

    Hi there
I posted on another thread about restarting my love of of horses after 20 years since being on a saddle. I am sorry mods if this is a wrong question to ask and please feel free to tell me off if so, but I am not working and would love to get some experience around a stables. The two downsides are that I am very overweight and 42 plus very shy. I live near Abbeyleix and was wondering does anyone know of a good local stables which would take kindly to an au one like me. I've heard of Gales Hill stables in ballickmoyler but don't know anything about them or any other local stables. any advice would be great. The advice on the other thread was greAt as well but just if anyone had any knowledge of local centers. Thanks.

    Hi,
I have to move in September with my two horses to Galway and searching for a nice livery yard there.
    Does anybody knows good places?
Shouldn't be more than 30 min away from the city and must have outdoor and indoor arena. No DIY stables as I have to work during the day.
Has anybody ideas about prices in this area as well?
Any tips/advices would be really helpfull :)

    Thanks very much
