Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can you take her home with you for the night?

Has she been microchipped? You could contact some of the rescues that specialise in sight hounds.

Best course of action for now would be take her home for a night. They are usually very quiet and clean.

Thanks to all x back home now, warmer hands :) went for a walk with her as I called Gardai earlier and my vet not terribly helpful. My daughter had seen her yesterday near a supermarket so I walked around the area to see if anyone was out looking for her.

Was approached by a rough guy who said it was his brothers dog. I said oh right, really? He couldn't tell me dogs name and brother "out of town"

Starting to feel anxious, because then another man approached me, also, sorry, very dodgy looking, but offered to call the gards. They came in minutes, confirmed it was their family's dog, so handed her over!

Let's just say the house that lovely dog went into had horses in front garden.... But I was offered cheap timber :)) Anyway all good now!

Rather a scary experience to tell the truth. Need a glass/two of vino! Sorry for garbled first post , walking in freezing cold, was panicking a bit, have a very old lab and a young puppy going mad at home. My husband is livid with me for going out alone (he wasn't home) and is convinced I'm going to be coshed next time I'm out with the dogs. Ha! At least she's in a home now!

Well done you for taking the time and trouble to assist the poor thing. More people like you would make the world a better place.
