Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With a cold snap coming , is it a bad idea going spraying a paddock for weeds

I think if the weeds are at the right size and growing well then spray away.
The cold spell may only last a couple of days and you may find the weeds have gone a little too strong by then.

Would it be too cold this week to spray now that we’re in the cold weather?

I've held off burning off grass for a reseed over the last few days due to the coldness but I will spray it very shortly maybe next Monday as it will need 10 days to kill off completely.

Just an update , sprayed last week anyway having great results so far already , used eagle in one field and docks fading last few days , had another field with docks and chickweed that took hold last season , hit that with dock box , first time trying it and it’s killing both nicely

Is it too cold to spray rushes that I missed the
    end of last year?

For the sake of a week I’d hold off until it warms up and they start growing

It’s the weather is the problem. With rain due next week it wouldn’t take much to make the place wet.

I did a bit with the knapsack last Saturday. Roundup, in a small sheltered plot I want to stick in a bit of wildflower mix. Day was very cold and it’s been cold since.
The grass and weeds are as healthy today as the day I sprayed.
Hold off until you get a bit of heat and growth.

What do yous recommend for docks. Only a few coming up in a small field so was gonna use the knapsack sprayer on them

Hi all, a somewhat related question. We have docks and some very light rushes starting to come in the same field. What's the best approach?
Can you mix something like eagle and mortone in the same tank and spray in one pass?
Or if spraying separately should you need to leave an interval?
Or is there some other product that will kill both? Thanks.

Was going to spray today but it felt a little windy. Temperature prob not high enough either. Hopefully next weekend.
