whoa, I saw this come up in my facebook feed a little bit earlier, but thought the image used on the thumbnail was completely unbelievable.

Man, that must have been some scary stuff for the passengers.

Jesus that was a close call, not a nice thing to see. It reminds of that plane crash in the knowing.

Why did the plane tilt as it approached the road, trying to fit between the poles to avoid getting clipped?

It was out of control, The pilot could of been trying his best to regain control hence the sudden tilt. That would be my best guess anyway.

The pilot put it down into water and that looked difficult seeing as they appeared to be in an urbanised area. Definitely saved lives.

    The footage looks almost movie-like.

That taxi driver was lucky. Doesn't look good for anyone on board the plane though.

That truck / bus in front of the taxi was extremely lucky, I think the wing actually clipped it.

Ah, couldn't tell from the video quality and thought the taxi was the one with the dashcam footage.

That guy should buy a lotto ticket tonight.

Amazing that the plane missed the tower block. Casualty count could have been a lot worse. Also, why did both cars continue to drive on?

OOOOhhhh look at me, I can fly! Seriously patronizing tone on that comment. Take it to A&A.

Why are people watching/posting videos of this? There's nothing to be gained from doing so. I hate this latest obsession with misery porn. I was witness to a lady being knocked down a few weeks ago (thankfully she only got minor injuries and remained conscious) but before the ambulance arrived, there were fúcking idiots with their smartphones out recording what was happening.

I know that these dash-cams were on anyway and not specifically to film a crash but the only people who see these videos should be the people involved in the investigation into what caused the crash.

RIP to all involved. A horrible tragedy.

Apparently it was to avoid the buildings then just lost control abit. Still managed to get it into the water some flying considering its in a city

I hate this latest obsession where the popularity of something and a regular posting of it is considered some sort of porn. Makes it hard to find porn!

Scary stuff. It looks like it stalled(loss of power/too steep a climb?). Not enough lift. When you first see it in the clips, it's nigh on falling, then as often happens with a stall one wing drops hence the extreme bank and down she came in the river. More luck than judgment that it didn't hit any one of those tower blocks. The fatalities would have been terrible. As it is there are survivors and hopefully many more to come, which is itself amazing.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Engine flameout. Basically, one of the engines stopped working at a critical part of the flight.
