Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen an error like this on their poweredge?
CBL0008: Backplane 1 connector PCIe A is incorrectly connected to Unknown SGPIO

Reseated everything but error still occurs

    Cheers

Never seen anything like that, only thing I can suggest is pull out the power cord(s) & hold down the power button for ~20 secs to drain everything & then power it up again. One of the servers where I work never recovers from a power down without some tlc like that!

What model is it ? BIOS Version ? Service Tag ?

Are there any PCIe cards installed ? Which slot is it in ? How many CPUs ?

CBLxxxx errors are cable related. SPGIO is connected with the backplane for the hard disks so there might be an issue with the cable from the PERC to the backplane. A bit more info on the specific model would help to narrow it down.

Ah I ment to reply sooner - I reseated all the cables at the front part of the backplan near the fans/disks and lo and behold error was cleared. So we are just putting down to a loose cable at this stage
