Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I remember a few years back getting a 1m dish and motor so as I could watch prem league matches fta on foreign channels.

Couldn't understand a word the commentators were saying and I was constantly trying to get five live or today fm in sync with the match, but them days are long gone. No money in that for the English fa.

Liverpool Southampton, bit late in the day.

9 East TV Togo International 11900 H 27500. Not great picture quality but better than the other African channels from before. Commentary in French.

Man U WBA on the Togo channel today. Looks like this may be a channel for a 3pm kickoff every Saturday.

what was the quality like today? better than setanta?

I didn't watch very much. Quality was just about OK, I haven't seen Setanta but I'm sure it would be much better.

I just saw on LJ's that the match was also FTA on 5 West 12690 V 27500 Canal 3 Monde, channel from France broadcasting to Niger and Benin. May be another one to keep an eye on. LJ's also has the Togo listing this week, wasn't there last week.

Just back from Hunky Dory's Park:mad:

This feed for WBA Arsenal is FTA on 10 East. Channel name HD-1, commentary in Russian. Not very strong with me , some signal breakup.

    Frequency: 11005 - Pol: V - SR: 5000 - FEC: 3/4

    Category: Sport - Football

    Transmitted in: MPEG-2 4:2:0 (PAL)

Palace Fulham FTA feed same parameters as the WBA game above on 10 East. Again not very strong 9.0 dB but was a low as 6.5 dB before the game with a lot of breakup.

Edit: Signal increased to 10 dB 15 minutes in.

BFBS Sport on 10 East are scheduled to show the Palace Arsenal game.

    11221 V 27500.

Might not last for the game but FTA at the moment, as are Sky Sports 1 and 2 and other channels normally encrypted.

Yes. And Sky Sports 1 are now showing the Southampton Fulham game FTA. Also BFBS said they would be showing Sunderland Newcastle tomorrow. It obviously won't stay FTA for very long but its a good source at present.

I could also have watched Man U Stoke FTA today on the Togolese channel on 9 East. Shocking picture quality though.

Edit: Now gone encrypted. It has been changing to FTA on and off this last few days.

    Newcastle v Chelsea FTA - 10e

    11005 V 5000 3/4 8PSK - DVB-S2 (russian audio & crowd only)

    "Feed HD1"

    Enjoy :)

Now Fulham Man U on the Russian feed.

Signal good and strong today considering the weather, 10.5 dB.

Looks like we have Arsenal Liverpool coming up now on the Russian feed. The signal dropped out for a while with me during the Fulham game because of heavy rain. Back up to 11 dB now.

It has been a good day for FTA Premier League.

    Hi DXhound,

Thanks for the updates on feeds for prem games. Do you need a specific type of receiver to open them? i have a 90cm motorised dish so was hoping I could pick them up? Any advice would be great.

As per the title of the thread everything reported here is Free to Air so can be viewed on any receiver. Some are broadcast channels, some feeds.

The feeds on 11005 V 5000 on 10 East are not very strong. You might struggle to get the signal with a 90 cm dish.
