Motorhome VRT - anything to look out for?

Hi all,
I'm about to buy a second hand motorhome from the North, so will need to VRT it.

I have VRT'd motorbikes and cars before - is there anything different involved here that I should be aware of for a motorhome?

they leak
in Ireland before sold they have to have a leak test
you can smell mold
but they try and covet it up with other smells
i would buy later I'm year when its cheaper
it's probably cheaper buying in uk than north

This doesn't answer the question that was asked.

I've only re-classified and paid VRT, so no help from me I'm afraid, though I don't believe it'll be that different. They'll base it on the OMSP of the vehicle

If you check out episode 45 of the Camping Crew podcast they discuss importing and dealing with VRT. It's a while since I listened to it but it gave some good details from what I remember
