Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think it is closed to all fishing.

You can still fish for brown trout using appropriate equipment.

One river in galway I fish in which are closed for salmon / sea trout doesn't allow any method where a one of those is likely to be caught accidentally ie no worms, lures etc.

I've fished for brown trout in seatrout and salmon river's,and I was left alone by the fisheries officer.

Going down with a mepps or worm is only asking for trouble and drawing attention to yourself.

Go down with a trout flyrod and they'll leave you alone.
