Hi all, I'm due to move out of a business premises shortly.
I need to retain the landline number [have had it for twenty years]
I won't be in a new permanent premises for some time.

Is it possible to port it to a voip service [that I can forward to mobile / use a voip app with].
If so, any recommendations? On a budget as customer base has fallen off a cliff with covid.

tldr: can I retain landline number and take/receive calls via mobile.

Should be possible once you have the UAN to port the number - I've only done it for a residential account.
Haven't tried out too many providers but ended up with Goldfish (Irish provider). Their portal lets you forward calls as you've outlined.

Be careful with Eir ........ they do not always have separate UANs for broadband and phone.
    That might cause some complications.
