Can I paint over acrylic plaster?

    Hi.

    A house I bought has the front covered in an acrylic plaster finish. I'm going by what it said it the survey. I would like to paint the house this summer- can I just paint over the acrylic plaster or does it need to be chipped off?

    You can paint over acrylic render with an acrylic paint. Various acrylic render suppliers recommend their own paints too.

    Do not chip it off. They're a really good finish.
