Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you make much use of the emoji options on your phone?

No use of them at all, ive received some texts in all emoji and thought no thanks too much to work out.

Do you have any pets and if you do do you think they see you as their equal or as their controller?

my computer is going bananas is it the wind i wonder?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 212 ✭✭Infonovice

I don't have any pets because I think they smell, they shed hairs, and I don't want to deal with their wee/poo.

If I could get over that i'd treat them as an equal member of the family. I actually get filled with rage knowing a dog if left in a back garden all day.

Do you have, or would you prefare a traditional style home, or a comtemporary style?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I have a traditional style i think with a maritime feel to it.

What drives you more drum and beats or good guitar play?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 212 ✭✭Infonovice

    both I think.

I go through phases of listening to different types of music. Even down to beiber himself:P

Although at the minute, and a bit more credible, i'm listening to Corey Taylor, Stonesour and a tad bit of Slipknot.

What is on your playlist at the mo??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

all three you mentioned will now be added to bring some flavour,

mike dawes, josh ritter, alphaville and eiffel 65 complete with shuffle dancers

Have you the option to play music as loud as it deserves?

I'll need a few minutes to look up your style. I don't think I know them offhand but I might once i hear a song or two.

I wish. I've always got music playing(again not always credible, but mostly it is).
I'd rather have music playing than watch t.v.

Do you watch much t.v and if so what are you watching?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I might watch some random programmes but there a tv in the corner for dusting purposes only.

Whats your favourite song from your childhood that you still play, what invokes memories, smells, thoughts of people?

Seems I do know Alphaville- Forever young
    Eiffel 65 was a joke wasn't it??

Whats your favourite song from your childhood that you still play, what invokes memories, smells, thoughts of people?

Everything But the Girl - Missing you
    Linkin Park - Crawling

What type of music do you dislike the most?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

Eiffel 65 reminds me of a time and place in my life. 1999 on a magical island.

Music i dislike is a lot of the current music that i cant decipher, not sure is that me or the people singing it, Arianna Grande for example.
If you cant sing along easy you cant sing along at all.

    Do you play an instrument?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 212 ✭✭Infonovice

Yep, started off really strong, but last season got very repetitive in terms of the characters jokes. Most recent season is back to being great.

Yes, but only a very minor one - surgery on my wrist after I broke it.

    Do you own a dog?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Never . I have never spent a night in hospital and my longest visit is about 2 hours for a few stitches.

Yes, kind of. The kids brought home a stray, we've been trying to find the owner, but I reckon we won't at this stage. So we'll hang onto her.

I think it is. It's going to make absolutely everything a bit more inconvenient.

Is it bad that I kind of hope so so that the housing market slows down and I can afford to buy?

It's either a quite unexciting spaghetti bolognese or a slightly more exciting trip to the Ivy with a colleague for steak.

I'd have gone months without talking to my brother on the phone when I lived abroad. Probably a couple of weeks for parents.

It will not cause an obesity crisis but it will cause a cancer crisis IMHO, with all the pesticides used on things.

I don't really have a best friend - I have a variety of close friends, and I spent the weekend with one of them in England.

Do you ever print out photos these days?
