Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No contact from landlord

My lease is up shortly and I cannot seem to get in contact with the landlord. I haven't been in contact with him for a while but whenever I did have to contact him in the past he responded straightaway.

So I'm in limbo now as he has my deposit and my lease is up shortly. What rights do I have come the end of the lease? I've no idea if he wants to extend the lease, if it will be some sort of rolling contract, etc.

You go onto what's known as a Part IV tenancy unless you give notice, which is obviously not easy to do if the LL is AWOL.

Ok thanks. I guess it's a waiting game and see if he responds. Just don't like the uncertainty but at least with the Part IV tenancy I have some security in that he can't just chuck me out.
