Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I was wondering does anyone know a site where I can look to buy vintage car posters? Not too expensive.

    Thanks.

Any cars in particular? I have the links somewhere for a few but mostly for pre war cars really.... Not sure if you were using 'vintage' in it's strict sense ;)

    Will dig out the links

    There's plenty reproductions on ebay.
You need deep pockets for the real deals, esp. the classier pre War stuff. Advertising from the 1950's and 60's and onwards should be more widely available. Or buy a cheap 1960's motoring mag and harvest it for advertising and frame?

I have a good from from about 1926 / 1927. Original prints which i assume are taken from a magazine.

they are all roughly A4 size though

Nearly all of the car makes are long gone now, with the exception of a few like Peugeot, Renault and Ford

Odd adverts for spark plugs, batteries and accessories too
