Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clearance visible with a patch of blue sky to the West.

Feeling chilly in the breeze, currently 8.8 and overcast. A few spits of drizzle in the wind so far, not enough to wet the ground. Garden could sorely use a proper wet day at this stage.

Yes, just small spits of rain :( Garden really needs a soaking at this stage.

Bucketing down here in South East Wicklow since about 8.30 no let up in it. Trees swaying readily in the gusts too.

Rain arrived here, temperature dropped to 6.8C, feels like a January day outside. Still, thankful for the rain. Woodstove will be lit this evening.

Rain almost stopped in North Kildare, was moderate at times for about 2 hours from about 08:30. Still cloudy but can see somewhat of a clearance towards the southwest.....not blue sky clearance but more of a less cloudy clearance.

Should be a decent jump in temperatures this afternoon for the northern half of the country, quite a difference right now.

Have noticed that too about the frozen precipitation, both at Shannon and Dublin. That cold air is now being dragged down from above in North Kildare as the rain has recently begun. Temperature dropped from 5.8c ten minutes ago to 4.7c now..... And it's still falling quite quickly.

Cool and damp drizzly start here. Not many people about as a result when doing my morning run so no worries about social distancing for once.
Looking forward to the long weekend ahead and some gardening, weather permitting.
