Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do so many restaurants only deliver in the evening?

I suppose I'm missing something obvious... Any advice?

I'm in Galway and covid doesn't seem to have improved this oddly.

Probably because it wouldnt pay most restaurants to serve lunch. I imagine that it's largely economic or financial.

It's gotten better with the just eat/deliveroo/uber eats situation where you don't need your own driver, but it's just not viable for most resteraunts.

Are the restaurants that you're trying to get a delivery from actually open in the early afternoon?

Many restaurants aren't open all day. Some don't even open until 5pm.
Are you trying to order lunch from an evening restaurant?

Stay in bed until 2pm, and lunchtime won't be until 6.30.

Problem then is trying to get your dinner delivered at midnight.

Get your arse out of the house.

6 eggs, pack of rashers, pack of sausages, a pudding, litre of milk, 2 tomatoes and make yourself a big FKOFF fryup.
