Slightly off topic, I was watching a review video of the QC35 ii and the lad said that the ear with the Google assist button, the sound is slightly lover than the other ear which he found a distraction compared to the older QC35..

Anyone who have a pair notice the same? Or was he just being dramatic..

I haven’t noticed that at all although I use that button for the Noise Cancellation Level. I have just tested it with the Google Assistant assigned to that button and I did not notice any difference.

Same here, can't notice any difference.. Only have them two weeks and not a daily wear.

Took my new(ish) QC25’s on a long flight .... but forgot the cable!!! I had 2 other cables (non-Bose) in my bag but neither fit.

Anyone know where I can get a spare cable in Ethiopia?????

2 things worth noting here. The Bose 700 NC headphones are out now, so I'd expect prices of the QC35 line to come down. And more concerning is that there's reports that the latest firmware on the QC35II reduced the effectiveness of the noise cancelling. Some are saying that this is to force people to upgrade.

Just worth keeping in mind.

Could anyone recommend somewhere that would specialise in fixing Bose headphones? My old QC 35 II's are having an issue with the sound in the right earphone and I keep having to tap it to get the sound back on. Might be a loose cable or something.

Bought a new pair, but if a repair is possible and not too expensive it might be worth getting them fixed.

Contact Bose directly they offer a good warranty service or good will if they are out of warranty

Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't going to bother getting them fixed but I'm happy I asked now. I contacted them via whatsapp and they've given me a shipping label to return them for replacements. Since they've asked me to return everything in the original box I assume I'll be getting a new pair or a refurbished pair rather than having mine fixed. I have a nice gift for someone at least!

You’ll get a new pair.

I got same great service for a faulty set of soundsport.

Only I had to keep everything except the cans, they only replaced the headphones, nothing else, no case, no leads, no buds.

Identical happened me two days ago. My on off button failed on my Bose soundsport and I messaged their WhatsApp and they offered to send me out a new pair and return the faulty set. I'm delighted

Had the right ear cup problem with my 3 year old QC25’s. After a long drawn out over and back on WhatsApp support I got a 50% off a new pair.

Remember that your contract is with the retailer. You have up to 6 yrs cover on electronics so the options are repair, replace, refund. It's up to you and the retailer to come to an agreement depending on age. Used this plenty of times and always happy with the outcome.

I bought them in the US, so it wasn't as straightforward in my case. Other companies I've dealt with for similar issues in the past made it difficult because I bought them on another continent.

Bose themselves took care of it though. Shipped back the old ones and they sent me out a brand new pair sealed in the standard retail box.

Had the sonys but brought them back and got the Bose. Sonys are good but found them very uncomfortable if used for long periods.
