Draw for Preliminary Round is on Tuesday 11th June

The preliminary round is a one-venue mini-tournament consisting of a semi-final round on 25 June and a final three days later (all one-off matches). This season's matches will be hosted by Kosovo at Pristina's Fadil Vokrri Stadium.

The winners of the final round enter the first qualifying round on 9/10 & 16/17 July, with their opponents decided in the draw on 18 June.

The three losing teams transfer to the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round

After 2 seasons of being 3rd seeds in the group stage I'm a lot more relaxed this season with Liverpool being 1st seed!

No last minute calculations of coefficients as teams qualify like last season where we narrowly missed out on being 2nd seed or having to qualify through the playoffs like the year before.

Our path to the final should be much easier this year

Watched it. Thought Dundalk were fantastic in the 2nd half and could have actually nicked it. Qarabag are very well organised and technically sounder so you'd fancy them at home but the tie is very much alive.

Pity Celtic are gone as I'd be more interested in seeing them in the competition. Not too surprised by the outcome as I'm not a fan of Lennon.

This is so true, and maybe even mid to lower championship level. They don't have the quality, and they can't afford it. I think they've only made the group stage twice in the last 6-7 years, and they were embarrassed in the group stage. They even lost to a Gibraltarian team recently. The overall poor quality of the Scottish league doesn't help.

They drop into the Europa League Playoff now though, same way Shamrock Rovers gained entry into the Group Stage back in 2011 I think.

Leeds United were on Sky earlier, I reckon they would beat Celtic. They also have a far better manager.
