Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cant remember the last time we won 5 0!

The last time we scored 5 goals in a game was last season against Carlisle United in the cup :: https://www.worldfootball.net/report/league-cup-2018-2019-1-runde-carlisle-united-blackburn-rovers/

The last time we beat a team by 5 goals or more was Sunday 14th of October 2001 against West Ham when we beat them 7-1 :: https://www.worldfootball.net/report/premier-league-2001-2002-blackburn-rovers-west-ham-united/

And the last time we beat a team by the exact scoreline of 5-0 was Sunday 1st of April, 2000 when we beat Sheffield United 5-0 :: https://www.worldfootball.net/report/championship-1999-2000-blackburn-rovers-sheffield-united/

Getting very congested all the way up from 12th. A bit of consistency would go a long way!

We look a bit light in a few areas left back especially

This is getting kinda exciting! Amazing run considering the injury situation.

On TV at 12.30 in a tough away game. We are playing so well right now, hopefully it continues today. A win here would be huge, it'd put us right on the verge of the playoff race.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,942 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

1-0 Rovers, Armstrong with a calm chip over the keeper into an empty net.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,942 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Still 1-0 to us, second half about to start. We've been very good defensively, they've had most of the ball and a couple of shots on target and look dangerous. I've a feeling we could nick one on the break as they are really pushing forward.
Of course they could equalise and even go on and win it too.
Overall very impressed with our defending though. Hopefully we can keep it up and get the win.

Ball over the top and it ends up in a penalty for Rovers. Armstrong buries it. 2-0.

Backs against the wall now.. HOLD please!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,438 ✭✭✭Still Ill

Agh... Soft penalty. Then again, so was ours. Brentford well on top now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,942 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

An absolute joke of a decision by the referee giving a penalty to Brentford. Benrahma scores 2-2.

A win away at Derby tomorrow will.put us 6th in the playoffs. I think it'd be huge for team belief to get there.

We lost 3-0 and instead Derby make a move towards the playoffs

Having seen the answers on one of the facebook fan pages, some of our emojis in that link would make it impossible to see patterns.

The other side is that whoever devised that in the first place is demented!

Back with a win today! 3-1 versus Bristol city.
7th just a point outside the playoffs!

Well it has all gone downhill since then.

Losing to Wigan 2-0 and now the same scoreline at Barnsley.

Brereton sent off for what looked like nothing, then Barnsley got their second not long after.

I saw that. Was a silly tackle but never a red for me.

This is the end of our playoff chase now surely with the run we have coming up. Really needed to win tonight.

Mulgrew badly at fault playing offside for the 2nd goal too

I'm not even sure it was for the tackle - which was silly. I think it was for a perceived stamp in the aftermath of it.

Brereton has still njot done anything to justify the money spent.

Ya he has been disappointing considering the money he cost!!

At the start of the season I would have been very happy with how we are sitting now especially after Dack got injured but it's very disappointing after the great win we started back with last week.

Wasn't really expecting anything today but none the less another loss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,306 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

3 points tonight against cardiff but I think probably too far back to make playoffs at this stage.
    Armstrong what a player!
Walton really needs to go though...just not good enough

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,306 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Very decent performance today against WBA.
Had a number of excellent chances to nick it at the end.
Can't see us sneaking into that last slot.
Walton was very good today (generally poor since matches started back), Travis is a real player imo we might struggle to hold onto him for much longer.

Travis needs a DNA test to see if Robbie Savage is actually his dad...

Another disappointing result to finish the season against Luton.
10 points in the 9 games since football back ..very poor
We have clearly missed Bradley Dack...but seriously leaky defence main issue

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,306 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Disappointing result today against bournemouth...3-2...defence is a massive issue really need some reinforcements, having said that we played fairly well I thought

He is in great form in fairness was brilliant last season as well.

A goal down to newcastle in carabao cup atm....but at least we have a new defender signed at last Daniel Ayala who was a free agent after leaving boro.
Should be a good solid signing plenty of experience

Great first half 3-0 up against wycombe.
Dolan on a free looks like seriously good business
Armstrong excellent as usual, Rankin Costello also impressive.

I wasnt keeping track of the game, but when I saw you hadnt posted the final score, I half expected that we had lost 4-3 :)

    5-0 is a great win :D

    Ha ha

For a change no! It helps they had someone sent off but we were well on top at that stage

3-0 up after 15 minutes against Derby....we are ripping them apart.
Dolan is looking like a genius signing!

Interesting that derby have Kamil Jozwiak in their side he was linked to us quite a few times over the last while.....he might have picked the wrong team! :)
