Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Modern day Laois Ghost Stories

    Do any Laois people know of any interesting first person ghost stories from the County? Writing Haunted Laois for the History Press 'Haunted' series so I'd be very interested in hearing from anyone from Laois who has any kind of paranormal story they witnessed themselves. This isnt a thread about the paranormal or if it exists or not - just looking for stories. Cheers.

    still looking. in the meantime two other county Ghost story books in the series have been written. Theres about half a bookful for Laois so far so anyone with any first hand stories more than welcome

    no it isnt as this thread isnt a ghost story. ts not even a zombie thread as its still relevant. oops - sorry, youre a comedian ... I didnt notice.
